The next 'Lesbians Exploring Faith Together' Event will be a workshop day in Birmingham led by non other then eminent theologian Professor Lisa Isherwood. See her profile at http://www.winchester.ac.uk/?page=7607.

The meeting will be at Carrs Lane Church Centre, Carrs Lane, Birmingham B4 7SX on Saturday 21st November 2009 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Places will be limited so booking is recommended. E-mail Sam to reserve a place.

The day will start with lunch, and there will be an opportunity to go out for drinks/meal in the evening afterwards.

The programmme for the day is likely to be around the topic of body theology, and be workshop based, no previous experience of theological study is required.

I heard a talk she gave at Carrs Lane a few months ago, and she was able to talk about complex ideas, yet be easy to listen to, thought provoking and entertaining.
